Resolved Question: Is it worth it to write the state to reduce the amount of days they will suspend my license?

I recenty payed all my fines- like $600 worth. The state of Minnesota says I can reinstate my license on Oct. 31. And than I got two letters in the mail saying my license will be suspended as of 11-8-07 (after I payed my fines). One said it will be suspended for 90 days and the other one said it will be suspended for 180 days. Does that mean the 90 days cancels out and it’s just 180 days? Or is it 180 plus 90, I don’t get it.

This has been a long, drawen out process to get my license back. First, I don’t have any DUI/DWI tickets, basically just driving after suspension and no insurance tickets and a few others (12 total). But, besides that, am meeting all the requirements to get my license back, and today I will reinstate my license, but I just want to know if anyone knows the chances of them not resuspending my license again if I write the state a letter telling them not to do that. It’s stupid becuase I can’t call and talk to anybody, I actually have to type up a letter.
